The family of George Michael have told the tragic star’s lover to stay away from the the funeral.
Fadi Fawaz has been told that he is “not welcome” and has been branded a ‘gold digger’ by George’s family.
Speaking to The Sun, George’s ‘cousin’ Andros Georgiou revealed that Fadi is not exactly welcome when the singing superstar is laid to rest.
Andros was called a cousin by George as they were extremely close when growing up and Andros went on to tour the world with the singer.
Fadi, 43, was the one who found 53-year-old George on Christmas Day, dead in bed but he has not been invited to the funeral.
Andros said: “Heaven help him if he turned up.
“Fadi has not been invited to the funeral — the family hate him.”
Andros also revealed that the singer will be buried in his favourite suit and shirt.
This was what he wore on his final tour, along with his gold Cartier watch and the ring that he has engraved with his nickname, Yog.
George is to be buried next to his mother, Lesley but the funeral is currently on hold, waiting for the coroner to release his body.
Andros has revealed though that all arrangements are in place.

He said: “The clothes have been chosen and it will be his favourite black suit and shirt from the Symphonica tour, with no tie.
“He will also be dressed in a gold Cartier watch and the ring with Yog on it.
“The family have all discussed it and the outfit has been arranged and we have the clothes.”
He also revealed that the private burial will be attended by George’s ex-backing singer, Shirlie, who is married to Let It Shine judge Martin Kemp.

Andros went on: “It will be a small and secret affair, with possibly less than 50 people.
“The hope is that George is in the ground before people find out about the funeral.
“It’ll mostly be family and a few close friends.
“George’s sisters Melanie and Yioda are doing the lists.
“Loads of members of George’s Greek family are over, waiting for it to happen.
“We are just waiting for the body. At the moment it’s basically lying in a fridge, which is a thought I can’t bear.
“I have to say goodbye, though I can’t even imagine it. I’ll be devastated, it will be heartbreaking.”
