We’re rapidly the approaching the one year anniversary of George Michael’s tragic death.
The beloved singer passed away on Christmas Day 2016, leading to an outpouring of grief around the world.
One of the people he left behind was partner Fadi Fawaz, who is now facing up to spending his first Christmas without George – while still living in George’s house.
The hairdresser posted a video to his Facebook page captioned “London dressed in white”, which showed the windscreen wipers of his car clearing off snow to reveal the £5 million Regents Park home he shared with George.
Suggesting that despite any unhappy memories, Fadi is still living in the upmarket house.
And it’s clear from Fadi’s social media channels that George is still very much in his thoughts, as the first anniversary of his passing approaches.
He also recently shared a video with George’s song Father Figure playing in the background.
And a few months ago, posted a throwback image of the pair in happier times, on holiday in the Maldives.
44-year-old Fadi was the one to discover the body of 53-year-old George on Christmas Day, after he died of heart failure.
In a Sunday People interview, Fadi said: “There will never ever be a lover in my life after George. I do not have anyone in my life and there will never be anyone ever. That is the truth.”
A few months ago, fans were saddened to learn that a planned tribute concert to George, organised by Esther Rantzen, had been shelved.
Esther said at the time to The Mirror: “There will no longer be a tribute concert because his family said no.”

“It was a real shame as I’d have loved to celebrate his music and give the fans a chance to say goodbye – and it would have been to benefit his favourite charity, too.”
George’s estate said: “We don’t usually comment on private or business matters.”
And fans are still paying tribute to him, leaving gifts and flowers in the garden outside his home almost a year after his untimely death.
