Giovanni Pernice has confirmed he IS still in touch with ex-girlfriend Georgia May Foote.
The pair grew close after being partnered on Strictly Come Dancing in 2015.
They confirmed their romance shortly after the show finished, but split less than a year later after deciding to “focus on upcoming work projects”.

But the Strictly Come Dancing hunk appeared on Lorraine today and revealed he still speaks to former Corrie star Georgia, despite their relationship coming to an end.
Stand-in host Fearne Cotton asked the star whether he still talks to any of his Strictly partners to which Giovanni replied: “Yeah, I still keep in touch with Georgia, and Laura as well.
“You spend so much time together, it’s a shame just to finish.”
Since their split the couple have moved on and begun romances elsewhere. Georgia was spotted “cosying up to Thom Evans” just a month after her split from Giovanni.
News first broke of Georgia and Gio’s romance coming to an end when the 26-year-old wrote on Twitter: “It is with great sadness we have decided to split up.
She added: “Nothing I ever said about my feelings to Gio were fake before people start.
“I still love him very very much. But things change.”

Georgia has recently confirmed she’s dating model George Alsford.
Meanwhile Giovanni has been rumoured to be “growing close” to another Corrie star – Katie McGlynn, who plays Sinead Tinker.
The pair had reportedly been out for drinks and were seen getting on very well indeed.
But Giovanni denied any notion of a romance with Katie to The Sun when he said: “I am absolutely single.”
During the chat with Fearne, Giovanni revealed he wasn’t sure if he would be returning to Strictly, which is set to come back in September, as he is still waiting for the official word.
He told Fearne: “Hopefully…we don’t know yet, we have to wait for a phone call.
“I will know May/June time.
“Fingers crossed – everything crossed.
“I would love to work in Strictly.”
