But of course, we all know it’s never that easy.
And over the years we have heard some real horror stories from former stars that have gone on behind the scenes.

Now, Pussycat Dolls singer Kimberly Wyatt is the latest popster who has revealed that her “controlling” record company left her feeling “anorexic”.
Looking back on her time in the mega-selling band, the 35 year old singer and dancer says she and her bandmates were constantly scrutinised so that they didn’t eat any more than they had to.
In fact, Kimberley says, the girls were ordered NOT to gain any weight so that they fitted the look the record company required.
“I was so conscious of my weight while in Pussycat Dolls,” she told the Mirror.
“Record producers constantly watched us to make sure we weren’t putting on weight, and we were made to be like anorexic aliens,” she explained.
Kimberley, who has a two year old child Willow with her gorgeous model husband Max Rogers (above), says she is so scarred by the experience of being in the band that she fears Willow maybe influenced by her and end up in a similar predicament
Kimberley says she is concerned by the way kids are becoming so obsessed with their weight,
“I saw two girls, who can’t have been older than nine, in gym-wear running in the park the other day, and they were talking in detail about calories,” the former chart topper confessed.
But Kim isn’t the only girl in the band who has had a tough time with eating disorders.
Her bandmate Nicole Scherzinger has also openly spoken about a strange relationship with food and how she suffered from bulimia whilst in the band.

“I had started losing my voice,” she said at the time. “I couldn’t sing at shows, and then I remember my manager finding me passed out on the floor in Malta or in the south of France,” she told Cosmopolitan back 2014, reflecting on her time in the band.
“I didn’t think anyone knew in my group or in my family because I hid it that well, I was so ashamed,” the singer, who has overcome her problems, added.
“I knew it wasn’t normal or healthy because I was hurting myself through this cycle of disordered eating. It was my drug, my addiction. It’s an endless vicious cycle,” she said.
