Football fan Roy Larner, who has been dubbed the Lion of London Bridge, has said he’ll look after Piers Morgan if he needs any help.
The brave Millwall supporter spoke to Good Morning Britain presenters Piers and Susanna Reid from his hospital bed.
Roy, 47, took on three terrorists on Saturday night, and is recovering for eight stab wounds.

Chatting to the hosts, Roy explained: “I’ve been stitched up quite well, so I’m better than I was.”
Talking about how he reacted to the men, he said: “Three blokes tried to kick their way into the bar because the door was shut. They entered the bar, all of a sudden they start pulling out knives, one’s trying to come to me with a knife, as I’m fighting him the other two have come to me then to help him.
“The three of them, I’m fighting them, and at the time I’m thinking of those families and kids who need to get out of the bar. It happened in about 45 seconds and as I’ve got them out they’ve been shot around me.”
He added: “Maybe I’m a bit brain dead.”
“Whether I’d do it again, I don’t know. You just try and stop them coming in. OK, I got a good hiding from it, but they’re not alive, I am still.”
Piers commended Roy for his bravery, to which the victim said: “If you’re looking for a minder, Piers…”
Laughing, Piers said he will take him for a pint when he’s out of hospital.
Chatting on the show yesterday, Piers shared his admiration for Roy and said: “Roy Larner, Millwall fans, today I like you.
“He got up, took them on single-handedly, saving countless lives, got stabbed eight times.
“Millwall fans get a very bad rack, a lot of it very deserved, but there are times when you really want a lot of Millwall fans – and that was one of them.”
Roy’s 78-year-old mum Phyllis Larner, said: “Roy is quite nippy and lippy – he definitely wouldn’t back down from a fight.
“He wouldn’t care who it was or if they had a knife or a gun.
“I got the call on Sunday morning about half 7 from his partner Tracey.

“I wasn’t shocked to be honest. He wouldn’t care who fronts him up. He will give as good as he gets.
“He must have been trying to help friends or something. The men with knives must have come into the pub and started on him and he would have fronted them up.”
A JustGiving page has been made for him so people can say thank you for his act of bravery. An amazing £24,000 has been made so far.
A Change.org petition has also been set up to ask for Roy to be awarded the George Cross for his heroic actions.
