This Morning’s Eamonn Holmes will be reunited with his past on screen partners Kate Garraway and Charlotte Hawkins when he presents Good Morning Britain this month.
The broadcaster, who hosted GMTV for 12 years and Sky News Sunrise for 11 years, will join the presenting team of the ITV show for four days before Easter while Susanna Reid, Piers Morgan and Ben Shephard are on holiday.
Eamonn, 57, worked with Kate on GMTV and Charlotte on Sunrise.
The presenter, who underwent a double hip replacement last year, said: “After the last four months of lie-ins, I feel refreshed and my hips have healed well.
“Breakfast TV is what I’m best known for so it’s nice to be back doing a short spell of early starts and to be back at my old stomping ground.”
Good Morning Britain editor Neil Thompson said: “Eamonn and I worked together on the very first edition of GMTV on the 1st January 1993.
“He’s a phenomenal broadcaster and journalist and it’s great to be able to work with him again on Good Morning Britain this Easter.”
Eamonn will be on Good Morning Britain from Monday April 10 to Thursday April 13.
