Ever since Stephanie Davis announced she was expecting a baby, many of us have been wondering whether her ex Jeremy McConnell is the father.
The former Hollyoaks actress insisted he was, but the Irish model refused to believe it was fact until the baby had arrived and he was able to do a DNA test.
Crunch time appeared to be nearing after Jez appeared on This Morning during the week and gave a DNA sample.
The former CBB star admitted that he thought Stephanie’s newborn – Caben-Albi – was also his, and confirmed that he would step up to his duties.

Now, something appears to have occurred in private because today Jeremy has posted a picture of the adorable baby boy to Instagram, with a touching message.
“Happiest man alive, my new focus,” he wrote. The message has been liked by tens of thousands of people.
The party boy shared the same picture to Twitter, with a different message – this time he wrote: “I’ll love this monkey with every bit if me.”
Well, Jezza has thus far stopped short of shouting “I AM the daddy!” from a rooftop, but this appears to be pretty solid confirmation to us!
There’s no word from either Steph or Jeremy about what has happened since that TV appearance earlier this week, but hopefully it means the former couple have now turned a corner.
Whatever bad blood has gone between them no longer matters – the health and happiness of their little boy is everything now.
