The NHS definition of colic is “excessive, frequent crying in a baby who appears to be otherwise healthy” and is a common problem.

She explained: “My baby has colic 🙁 Never had this before with Matilda. I’m a breastfeeding mummy so going to try and cut down on a few things in my diet to see if it makes a difference.

“Online it can be quite confusing what foods are good to eat while feeding and what foods to avoid? Thank you.”

She’s currently on maternity leave from her role as Rosie Webster but has promised fans she will return.

Helen told OK! mag: “I will definitely return. I’m just not sure when. I just need to see how everything goes with the baby. I didn’t want to have the pressure of putting a date ongoing back to work. My girls need to be my priority.”
