Appearing with Ruth Langsford, Linda Robson, Janet Street Porter and Lisa Riley on today’s show, Helen opened up about how they make it work.
“Me and Matilda live with my mum and dad during the week,” she explained.
“And then at the weekends we go to Glasgow because Scott plays for Celtic, so that’s what we do at the weekends.”
But although it might not work for some couples, Helen’s happy enough that it’s right for them.
Asked by Ruth if that’s quite hard for her, Helen replied:
“It’s really lovely, actually, because it’s nice to have a break.
“It’s not easy, but I really wanted to go back to work and I’ve always been really supportive of his career and he’s really supportive of mine.”
Helen returns to the cobbles as Rosie Webster next Monday, and where Rosie goes, trouble definitely follows.
She turns up to surprise dad Kevin, but the police are soon hot on her tail and they arrive with a search warrant for her luggage.
It turns out, Rosie’s been smuggling drugs, but will the police find them?
Romance is also on the cards for the character as she soon catches the eye of Adam of local lover man Adam Barlow.

Speaking about the storyline Helen told the Loose Women:
“There’s a spark with Adam Barlow.
“I think they’re quite funny together, but he is a ladies’ man.
“I can only see her with Adam, I can’t see her with everyone else.”
