Helen Flanagan may have tried to cover her stomach as she made her exit scenes in last night’s Coronation Street, but the actress took to Instagram to share a picture of her blossoming baby bump.
At 38 weeks pregnant, Helen looks blooming beautiful!
In a tight red dress, showing off her perfectly round tummy, the soap star wrote: “Love carrying baby girl”, followed by the hashtag #38weekspregnant.
Helen, 27, also tagged her ‘favourite maternity clothing brand’ Isabella Oliver, which is also a favourite of the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton.

Fans flocked to praise the star, complimenting her maternity style and expressing their disbelief at just how gorgeous Helen looks.
“Can’t believe you’re still out and about looking glam in late pregnancy. You go girl! All the best with the birth of your little girl,” wrote one fan.
Another even named Helen ‘the best looking pregnant person’. Now that’s an accolade!
“Helen you look fantastic hon, that’s the cutest bump I’ve ever seen,” added another.
Other eagle-eyed fans were also quick to point out how Helen’s bump was ‘laying low’ – usually an indication that labour could start in a matter of days, rather than weeks. Eek!
“You look fantastic and almost ready to bring her into the world,” commented one follower.
Another agreed, adding: “Your bump is very low. I don’t think you’ll last two weeks.”
Her uber glam pregnancy look marks Helen’s first day of ‘official’ maternity leave, as fans saw her character Rosie Webster leave the cobbles last night, after landing a job in Japan.
Fans also took to social media to say they were sad to say goodbye (for now) to the much-loved character.
“Rosie will be missed. She’s so funny and fabulous. Can’t wait for her to come back,” tweeted a Corrie viewer.
“I love Rosie. I know Helen is going on maternity leave but please say she’s coming back,” added another.
Helen’s on-screen mum, Sally-Ann Matthew also confessed she would miss Helen.

Helen is expecting her second daughter with partner Scott Sinclair, and the two already share adorable Matilda Jessica, who turns three this month.
It’s certainly been a busy few weeks for the couple. Not only has Helen filmed her exit scenes for Corrie, but the couple also shared a romantic trip to Disney Land Paris last fortnight, where Scott popped THE question.
Now, not only does Helen have a birth and a wedding to plan, but her second daughter could arrive on Mathilda’s birthday – so that’s double the party planning.
