Helen Flanagan reveals how she pushed herself ‘out of comfort zone’

Says her daughters inspire her.

Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan has opened up about her attempts to break out of her comfort zone.

The actress took to Instagram to reminisce about studying at RADA (Royal Academy of Dramatic Art), claiming that her daughters inspire her to push herself.

The picture showed her standing on the steps in front of the door of RADA, where she attended a two-week acting course in 2017.

In the caption, Helen expressed spoke about what led her to take the course, and what a satisfying experience it was.

“#throwback to this time last year on my Rada course which was so fun…” she said.

“With having my girls I like to push myself out of my comfort zone 💖 was such a great experience which I will always remember and I was in a group with same amazing actors 👏 #emelie 😁 #hotseating 💖”

Helen has two daughters with her fiancé, Scott Sinclair – three-year-old Matilda, and two-month-old Delilah.

Since Delilah’s birth, Helen has been open about being the mother of a baby – including talking about the topic of breastfeeding in public.

She posted a shot of herself breastfeeding in a cafe, with a lengthy caption about her experiences.

“Didn’t post this picture last night ” she said. “I feel that breast feeding at first in public can make you apprehensive but I find the more I breastfeed in public the more my confidence grows and it becomes like second nature to me.

“I always bring lots of blankets when I’m out and about so I can cover myself and Delilah comfortably 💘 it’s just latching the baby on first and then your away 💖

“I just concentrate on my baby as she is priority and don’t pay attention to anything else around me.”

Helen has previously posted her support of breast-feeding confidence initiatives, saying “I still don’t understand why it needs to be something mums should do behind closed doors.”
