Helen Flanagan has soldiered on to attend her sister’s wedding after being advised she shouldn’t walk on her injured foot.
The Coronation Street star told her Instagram followers she suffered a freak accident while on holiday in Dubai.
“I’ve got to catch a flight in one hour and, to cut a long story short, I’ve burnt my foot on a shisha pipe,” she explained in her Stories, where she also shared an image of her bandaged foot.

“I’ve sobered up now, got a BLT sandwich. I’ve got to be a bridesmaid for my sister and my foot is like this!” she exclaimed.
The mum-of-two had been enjoying a break in the sun with her Celtic footballer fiancé Scott Sinclair when the accident occurred.
She admitted: “Apparently I can’t walk on it. What a fun night. It was really fun. I just have to be a big girl about it.”
However, it seems she did still manage to enjoy her sister’s celebrations in the Lakes, as she updated her Stories with clips of herself getting ready in her hotel room.
She was joined by her daughters with Scott, Matilda, four, and Delilah, one, as she shared updates of them larking around in her hotel room with their dad.
There was no visible sign of the burns as she later posed for a picture with Scott outside the venue of her sister’s big day.
The soap star looked stunning in a purple dress and was wearing black high heels despite her foot pain.

Some of her followers asked how her foot was doing – but she has yet to respond to them.
The mother-of-two is currently planning her own wedding to her footballer beau, which is set to take place in 2020.
Teasing her bridal style, she told OK! magazine: “I’m going to be super glamorous, you won’t have seen anything like it before! It’ll be big hair, big make-up, full on glam. I’m going all out!”
Hopefully she won’t suffer any injuries before her own walk down the aisle!
