Katie Price hits back following newspaper claims about her kids

And Peter Andre probably won't be happy either

It seems that barely a day goes by without Katie Price being riled by someone or something.

And the mum-of-five was fuming again this morning, attacking claims that she’s in talks to make two of her kids the faces of McDonald’s.

According to a report in The Sun, Katie, 39, and her ex-husband Peter Andre, 44, have been offered a “six-figure deal” to allow their children Junior, 12, and Princess, 10, to advertise the fast-food chain’s Happy Meals.

But Loose Women star Katie has taken to Twitter to furiously deny the claims, insisting that she’s had no contact with McDonald’s representatives whatsoever.

The newspaper quoted a “source” as saying: “Katie has made no secret that she wants Junior and Princess to follow in her footsteps and become TV stars.

“When McDonald’s approached them, she and Peter thought it would be the perfect opportunity to get their names out there.

“They met the McDonald’s marketing team, who immediately fell in love with the kids, who are already big fans of McDonald’s.”

But Katie was having none of it, and in the space of an hour she posted three tweets defending herself against the claims.

After posting an initial link to The Sun’s story, she fumed: “Well, this is the first I’ve heard of this about my children, so maybe @McDonaldsUK need to get in touch as I’m their mother.”

She then added: “I have not meet [sic] any @McDonaldsUK marketing team to discuss any such deal involving any of my five children! ….LIVID.”

Peter has previous with McDonald’s – earlier this year, the singer launched the brand’s UK Roald Dahl Day, when young consumers were encouraged to exchange their Happy Meal toys for books by the popular author.

And he once revealed in an interview with the Daily Mail that a McDonald’s would be his choice for his last meal on earth.

But whether he would have his kids’ faces emblazoned over one of the burger chain’s ad campaigns is another matter.

It’s been a difficult week for Katie. Earlier this week, one of her beloved horses was killed following a collision with a car.

And the former glamour model was furious that a bystander posted an image of the accident on Facebook.

She told her followers on Instagram: “Last night, our friends’ horses, including one of ours, escaped from their field and ran onto the road. We are devastated.

“We are extremely upset to find out one of our horses was killed last night, being hit by a car, and don’t appreciate that someone was circulating pictures of our horse dead in the road and put on Facebook!”
