Rosie Marcel has met with I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! bosses about possibly going on the show.
The Holby City actress, who plays Jac Naylor, revealed the news during an appearance on Tuesday’s Loose Women.
When asked if she would consider going on I’m A Celebrity, which starts in November, Rosie, 41, admitted she would love to take part in the ITV reality show.

She told the panel: “I have, I’ve been… I’ve had a couple of meetings. I have spoken to them, it is something I would love to do actually.
“I think for me it would be an amazing challenge.”
When asked when she would appear on the show, Rosie added: “I don’t know. Who knows?”
The full line-up for I’m A Celebrity 2018 is yet to be revealed, however, as always, there are a string of names rumoured to be taking part.
Coronation Street actress Lucy Fallon, Love Island star Olivia Attwood, Katie Price’s estranged husband Kieran Hayler and former Corrie actor Shayne Ward have all been tipped to go on the show.
But it’s not just contestants the show bosses are searching for.
They are also reportedly considering whether to sign a co-host for Dec Donnelly, after his telly partner Ant McPartlin announced he won’t be returning to TV until next year.
Last week, Ant released a statement confirming he would not be doing I’m A Celebrity as he is taking time off to focus on his recovery.
It was also revealed that Saturday Night Takeaway, which Ant hosts with best pal Dec, will not be back on our screens until 2020.
Ant said: “My recovery is going very well and for that to continue having spoken to Dec and ITV, I have made the decision to take the rest of the year off.
“I’d like to thank both Dec and ITV for their continued support and I look forward to getting back to work in the new year.”
There are a number of celebrities who fans have suggested could be the perfect temporary replacement for Ant, including former winner Scarlett Moffatt, Stephen Mulhern and Joel Dommett.
However, Joel has ruled himself out of replacing Ant.
The former campmate, 32, has suggested Dec doesn’t need a replacement presenting partner, after he proved himself to be a strong solo host on Saturday Night Takeaway and Britain’s Got Talent.

He added to The Sun that if ITV did decide to stick with two presenters, he recommends they choose his Extra Camp co-host Scarlett Moffatt as she and Dec would be “an amazing team.”
