Holly Willoughby hints at potential career break for sake of her kids

Don't go, Holly!

Holly Willoughby has revealed she’s willing to put her career on hold for the sake of her kids.

The mum-of-three is currently one of ITV’s biggest stars, presenting This Morning, Dancing on Ice and featuring as a regular on Celebrity Juice.

Not only that but she’s an ambassador for Diet Coke and Garnier and has a children’s book series written with her sister Kelly.

Just writing that list is exhausting, let alone having to raise three kids as well.

And Hols has revealed she may have to put the presenting on hold so she can focus on her children, saying it’s the “greatest job I’ll ever do”.

She told The Sun: “I don’t really want to do more, I just want to pause everything and keep everything as is.

“My biggest challenge over the next few years will be parenting my children as they get older.

“My main focus over the next few years is churning out three very grounded, normal, happy, content children, teenagers and adults, eventually.”

The 36-year-old is raising kids Harry, eight, Belle, six, and three-year-old Chester with hubby Dan Baldwin.

They met when Holly’s career was just starting out on children’s show Ministry of Mayhem before he proposed in 2006.

And 11 years later they are still as strong as ever as she manages to balance happy families with her career.

Viewers have been seeing even more of her as Dancing on Ice returned last weekend, with Holly resuming presenting duties with Phillip Schofield.

The pair have become the face of ITV having spent eight years alongside each other four days a week on This Morning.

But the two will go head-to-head next month at the National Television Awards as they’ve both been nominated in the Best Presenter category, alongside Ant & Dec and The Chase host Bradley Walsh.

However there’s no hint of the competition getting between them with Phil coming to Holly’s defence on last week’s DOI.

Judge Jason Gardiner had snapped at Holly after she pointed out it was only week one, following his criticism of skating novice Stephanie Waring.

Phil was having none of it and stepped in to say: “Don’t you snap at my girl!”

The show returns tomorrow with the second batch of six celebrities performing for the first time.
