This Morning’s Holly Willoughby ‘full of emotions’ as she drops son Chester off for first day at school

She thanked This Morning bosses for helping her out

Presenter Holly Willoughby was emotional as she dropped her youngest son off for his first day at school.

The TV host, 38, thanked This Morning bosses for “moving heaven and earth” to enable her to see off Chester, four, as begins his school journey.

Holly, who is back presenting the programme this week, shared a selfie on Instagram that shows her smiling for the camera as she walks with Chester, who is wearing his school uniform.

She captioned the post: “And he’s off… full of a whole host of emotions watching him walk through the classroom door… my baby is growing up…

“Thank you @thismorning for moving heaven and earth so I could drop him off.

“That’s a day we will both never forget.”

Holly’s fans rushed to comment on the snap and share their own experiences of their children starting school.

One said: “Beautiful, Holly. It’s such a massive day for them, glad you got to take your baby on his first day xxx.”

Another wrote: “Aahh little Chester, we never forget their first day! My baby girl, Effie, starts on Thursday.”

A third commented: “Aww Holly, so glad you got to experience this very special moment, hope he has the most amazing day xx.”

“Hope he has a fantastic first day. So special, the fact you could take him X,” said a fourth.

Holly shares Chester with her TV producer husband Daniel Baldwin, 44.

They have two other children – Harry, 10, and Belle, eight.

The daytime telly favourite told fans over the weekend (01.09.19) that the family was due to mark a big milestone on Monday.

She said Chester was starting ‘big school’ and admitted she doesn’t know where the time has gone.

She shared a photo of three sets of school shoes lined up by the front door and wrote: “Back to school… who else’s front door looks like this? Big day for Chester tomorrow, first day of school…”

Writing further, Holly wished good luck to other parents whose children are starting school, adding: “Can’t believe he’s at this stage already.”
