X Factor star Honey G has claimed she’s been sacked from her estate agent job after just 40 days, because she is too famous!
The X Factor rapper, real name Anna Gilford, ditched her trademark glasses and baseball cap and took up a new role at Chancellors estate agency in North London last month.
But unfortunately things didn’t work out, with Honey insisting: “They didn’t realise how famous I am.”
She claims the company wanted her to give up her music career to give full attention to the job, but she wasn’t prepared to quit her “passion”.
The 37-year-old told The Sun: “My boss had told me that he was expecting me to give up my music career which I am obviously not prepared to do.
“Music is my love and passion, and my ambitions are about being a worldwide music artist.”
The performer, who came fifth on the X Factor in 2016, says she has no interest in staying in property anyway as she still dreams of making it big in the music business.
You hear that, Simon Cowell?!

She added: “I had no intention of being an estate agent long term. I was hoping that a big opportunity for my music career would come in. I do believe I belong on stage”.
And don’t worry avid Honey fans, because she’s promised new material is on its way.
So, we haven’t heard “When I say Honey, you say G!” for the last time…
Perhaps Honey’s old boss Simon, 59, will throw her a lifeline. She was signed to his record label, SyCo, after the X Factor but she was dropped when her first album, The Honey G Show, didn’t do well.
