EastEnders legend Adam Woodyatt appeared to be in a playful mood at Jacqueline Jossa and Dan Osborne’s wedding, when he decided to photobomb a cosy group photo.
The TV icon – best known for playing Walford stalwart Ian Beale – popped up randomly in the background of a picture taken by TOWIE’s James ‘Arg’ Argent, who had been posing with EastEnders star Dean Gaffney and his girlfriend.

While Arg, Dean and Rebekah Ward focused on the camera, Adam, 49, could be seen craning his neck behind them, as if desperate to join the snap.

Arg only realised what had happened when he looked at the photo afterwards, and immediately posted it to Instagram with the caption: “Is this the best #photobomb EVER!?!?!? Haha…
“Love all the Eastenders gang! One day I’d love to join the cast! #strangerthingshavehappened.”
Arg was at the June wedding as a guest of Dan, who previously appeared in TOWIE, while Adam and Dean knew the bride, Jacqueline, as she also stars in EastEnders.

He then joined up with Adam for a proper photo, saying: “When the Ian Beale of EastEnders & the Ian Beale of TOWIE come together!!! lol #legend.”
“What a beautiful & special wedding day.”
Arg has often been hailed as the ‘Ian Beale of TOWIE’ thanks to the fact he’s been on the ITVBe reality show since day one and is still sticking around.
Adam, meanwhile, has been in EastEnders as Ian Beale since the very first episode.
Meanwhile, plenty of fans have told Arg he gets his wish and lands a part in EastEnders, after he shared his dream of joining the cast and joked that ‘stranger thing have happened.’
Arg, who is sporting a newly-trim figure these days after embracing exercise and healthy living, can next be seen in the third series of E4’s Celebs Go Dating.
He’s on the lookout for love again following his split from on-off girlfriend and former TOWIE co-star Lydia Bright earlier this year.
Confirming his role on the show, an excited Arg said he couldn’t wait to get stuck into some dating and follow in the footsteps of TOWIE stars Joey Essex and Ferne McCann, who have both taken part.
“I’m a huge fan of the show after watching two of my closest mates, Joey and Ferne, previously take part,” he said.
“Hopefully I don’t get rejected too many times lol. Anyone up for a date? Haha x.”
The show’s format sees a group of celebrities set up on dates with normal members of the public, after matchmaking duo Lady Nadia Essex and Eden Blackman meet with them to figure out just what they want from a partner.
