There are fears that the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! stars will have to flee camp after wildfires have struck the Australian jungle.
ITV bosses are said to be on high alert as multiple bushfires have begun moving south towards the show’s set after record high temperatures.
There are apparently up to 200 wildfires spreading across Australia, with one just 60km from the camp in Oxenford and Wongawallen.
A source has told the Mirror: “We speak to the fire services regularly and we are also monitoring the bushfires today in Oxenford and Wongawallan.
“There is no immediate danger but the safety and the welfare of our cast and crew is our number one concern, and so we will continue to watch how the fires develop. We are really hoping they don’t get any closer to camp.”
ED! has contacted representatives for I’m A Celebrity for comment.
The show is located in the thick of the jungle, meaning everyone would need plenty of time to evacuate.
Conditions in some parts of Queensland have been described as “catastrophic”.
I’m A Celebrity is filmed in Murwillumbah, on the border of Queensland.
The jungle weather can certainly be extreme.
Only last week, hosts Holly Willoughby and Declan Donnelly were presenting in torrential rain.
