George Shelley, who shot to fame in the boy band Union J, has opened up about his younger sister’s tragic death.
George appeared in public last night for the first time since his sister Harriet died in May after being hit by a car in Bristol.
The 21-year-old girl suffered serious head injuries after being involved in the car accident on April 28.

She went into intensive care but unfortunately died from her injuries on May 6.
George made his first public appearance since the death last night at record label Warner’s GQ Summer party.
He told The Sun: “This is the first time I’ve been out in a couple of months. I’ve had the worst year of my life but I’ve just got to try and get on with things.
“The love and support has been overflowing and it helps… My lovely boyfriend has been great and supportive.”
George has been keeping a low profile as he tries to deal with the tragic death, but now he feels it’s the right time to get back into his career.
He added: “I guess you just have to try and get on with life. It’s really hard to say it… I have to do what my sister would have done. She would have just got on with stuff.”
Although he understandably hasn’t been on social media very much recently, he did take the time to pay tribute to his sister.
In an Instagram post put up seven days after Harriet’s death, George wrote: “I will never accept that you’re gone. You will always be with me. My best friend, my sister, my angel.”

After shooting to fame during the X Factor, the former Union J star entered the jungle in I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2015.
He came second to Vicky Pattison on the ITV show and has since said that being on the show gave him “time to reflect” about his sexuality.
George publicly came out as bisexual in 2016 and is currently in a relationship with model Matthew Holehouse.
