I’m A Celeb stars’ massive fees REVEALED!

Who's quids in and who might have to borrow some money from their mum.

| Updated:

How much would TV bosses have to pay you to rough it in the jungle for a few weeks, fill your pants with stinky cockroaches and chew on a kangaroo peen?

Twenty quid? Fifty? A pint of lager and a packet of crisps?

Well, those lucky lucky lucky celebs who’ve just arrived in Australia apparently took a lot MORE persuasion than most of us to head Down Under, if leaked fees are to be believed.

And you will NOT believe how much some of the stars of this year’s I’m A Celeb have demanded to simply sit in the jungle for three weeks.

According to unconfirmed reports, former Countdown veteran Carol Vorderman is earning the most, signing up to the show for a whopping £200,000. (Oooh, we bet her maths skills come in handy when she’s counting all that dosh!)

Clearly ITV think Carol is going to bring something to the jungle that will keep viewers hooked. What? We’re not sure of, we’ll just have to wait and see.

Meanwhile, former England footballer Wayne Bridge has also been offered a fair whack, allegedly £150, 000, which to a footballer is probably like a week’s salary.

EastEnders star Larry Lamb and Emmerdale’s Adam Thomas also have very canny agents who have managed to negotiate for them delicious fees in their six figures.

And the rest? Ex Strictly Come Dancing star Ola Jordan is said to have been paid £90, 000, while Lisa Snowden and Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt have both agreed to accept £70,000 each to put themselves through jungle hell.

Olympian Sam Quek will be coming home to a fee somewhere between £40,000 and £70,000, while Jordan Banjo from Diversity and funnyman Joel Dommett were a snip at £25,000 a piece.

Not bad when you consider it’s just THREE week’s work of just sitting around doing not much! Oh well, get the work where you can!

So when you see those stars gurn and wince their way through their time in the jungle, don’t feel sorry for them too much, eh? It’s not like they’re making the world a better place – unless they force fed Donald Trump on a spit.

I’m A Celeb starts this Sunday on ITV at 9pm!
