If anyone deserves a special homecoming, it’s Ryan Thomas.
After an intense few weeks on Celebrity Big Brother, the actor’s family and friends threw him a massive welcome home party on Thursday evening.
The balloon-heavy event was held in Manchester, at former footballer Rio Ferdinand’s Rosso restaurant.
Ryan, 34, arrived to see his name in lights, spelled out in massive letters and surrounded by dozens of balloons.
Over the bar, gold helium balloons also spelled out CBB 2018.
The former Coronation Street star posted a video of the room on InstaStories, writing: “What a welcome home.”
His girlfriend, former TOWIE star, Lucy Mecklenburgh also shared videos from the event, as well as a peek at their hotel room after the event.
The pair, who have been dating a year, were staying at Hotel Gotham and Lucy, 27, showed off the gold bathtub in the en suite, as well as the bottle of champagne waiting for them.
And it looked like Scott Thomas was in charge of getting his brother ready for the event.
He posted his own pictures showing him picking up some “garms for @ryanthomas84’s welcome home party tonight”.
He also posted an adorable picture of him and his brother with their mum.
He simply captioned the shot: “Momma”, with a love heart.
Another picture from the evening showed Ryan with his former co-star Brooke Vincent and her footballer boyfriend, Kean Bryan.

Ryan was voted winner on Monday after what might’ve been the most scandalous season of CBB ever.
Former Emmerdale star Roxanne, 35, accused Ryan of punching her during what appeared to be a play fight.
She then quit the show and issued a public apology to Ryan, admitting she had got it “massively” wrong.
She told Emma Willis during an interview after her CBB exit: “For Ryan, his family, friends, colleagues and everyone I’ve affected by such an enormous reaction that could have been devastating for him, all I can say is I’m devastated and I’m sorry.
“I need to say I got it wrong and I’m human and made a nasty, massive, horrible mistake.”
Ryan said in his winner’s interview with Emma on Monday night that he wanted to move on and not dwell on the negatives, but he would accept Roxanne’s apology if she needed that to make her feel better.
He said: “If she wants forgiveness and it makes her feel better, then I would rather give her that because I think she’s been punished enough by the public and the people around her.”
We never knew how much we needed a party with our name in lights until right now. Anyone else?
