Long before we had the ‘Strictly curse’, we had the dreaded ‘curse of Hello magazine’.
One minute a happy celeb couple would be gurning on a couch (chuffed, no doubt, at the thought of being paid tens of thousands just to pose for a few pics for a couple of hours),the next their relationship would be in tatters.
But now it looks like OK! magazine has taken over the mantel.
Two weeks ago, Love Island’s Cara and Nathan invited the weekly magazine to photograph them snuggling up to each other at their new pad.
A week later – the couple had split after ongoing rows.

This week another high profile couple went their separate ways after appearing in the mag – only this time the doomed couple were STILL on the cover!
Yes, it looks like all the plans Ferne McCann had of moving in with her handsome boyfriend Arthur Collins have gone up in smoke.
Following on from the allegations that he was responsible for throwing acid into a crowd of people in a nightclub in east London, Ferne looks as thought she has wiped him out of her life.
While he is still being sought by police, Ferne has done what people do when they are totally ashamed of their other halves – deleted all their pics from the social media platforms and gone into hiding.
In spite of reaching out to Arthur to persuade him to speak t the police, Ferne has remained quiet and has asked for a couple of weeks off from her day job at This Morning.
However, there are rumours that her future on the show is in jeopardy following the vile incident this week.
“In light of events Ferne’s management have asked if she can take a couple of weeks off from filming This Morning,” a show source told The Sun.
“ITV bosses like Ferne and appreciate the work she’s been doing on the show, but it’s a family programme and given the headlines that she’s attracting now, it’s not the sort of image they want to be associated with.”
The insider also stated that the former reality star had no future appearances planned on This Morning.
We’re not sure this is actually all that fair on Ferne as she has made it quite clear that she was not with Arthur on the night of the shocking incident.
“Ferne is aware that the police wish to speak to Arthur Collins and the nature of the accusations against him,” Ferne’s rep has said.
“Obviously these are highly shocking and Ferne has co-operated with the police in their inquiries.
“She was not with Arthur on Sunday night, was not at Mangle and has no direct knowledge of the events that unfolded.

“As much as anybody she wants to know the truth and urges Arthur to co-operate fully with the police and attend a police station immediately.”
Ferne landed her role on This Morning after she came runner up to Vicky Pattison on I’m A Celeb.
After a few months of presenting the daily slot she was given outside broadcast features to do.
