The rumour mill is rife with speculation that a very familiar face could be making a return to Emmerdale over the festive period.
The big boss at the Dales, Iain MacLeod, recently teased that the Christmas episode of the ITV soap will feature a surprise appearance from someone.
Now, Iain has already said that the Christmas episode will revolve around Robert Sugden and rumour has it that his brother from another mother, Andy Sugden, might well show up.

Iain previously said of the Christmas spesh: “It is probably the weirdest episode that we have ever done, and given that we have done some pretty weird episodes, that’s saying something.
“But I think it’s really entertaining and dramatic, and it’s got a surprise cameo in it.
“It is stylistically a bit weird and romantic.”
Last week, Inside Soap mag, reported that actor Kelvin Fletcher – who played Andy – had been spotted at the Emmerdale set with his little daughter, Marnie.
Was he just there to introduce the one-year-old to his former friends and colleagues?
Or could he have been doing some super-secret filming for that Christmas episode? We can’t wait to find out.
Andy was last seen in the village back in July last year when Chrissie White framed him for shooting her dad, Lawrence.
Of course, it was actually Lachlan who got trigger happy but Andy went on the run.
Since then there has been loads of speculation about Andy making a comeback – and with the White family soon to be history, there’s no better time for him to come back to the village.
It doesn’t look like Kelvin has any plans to come back full time though as he’s enjoying spending time with Marnie and his wife, Elizabeth.
He also recently had to laugh off claims that he’d quit acting to become a racing driver after several papers reported his apparent career change.
Taking to Twitter earlier this month, Kelvin said: “Just to be crystal clear. I’ve not ‘given up acting’. What is so hard to understand? I’m an actor and I’m a racing driver. The two are completely separate and neither one dictates the other.”

Kelvin told the Mirror about his racing driving career: “I’ve signed professional contracts. It’s certainly snowballed and it’s a dream come true. I was lucky because sponsors were willing to back me because of my profile.”
Hurry up and race back over to the Dales please, Kelv.
