The huge storyline that Coronation Street has got lined up for little Jack Webster kicks off tonight.
It was revealed several weeks ago that the Webster family are going to face what could be their toughest time yet as 7-year-old Jack falls ill after contracting sepsis through a cut on his knee that he got playing football.
Tonight sees that storyline start to unfold as the schoolboy falls ill while being looked after by sister Sophie Webster.

After coming home ill from school, Seb and Faye are stunned to find him slumped on the stairs and rush him to the medical centre.
Everyone is set to be relieved when doctors reveal Jack has a viral infection and should recover with some rest at home.
But when trainee GP Ali comes to visit Jack later that day, he is concerned to find the boy’s fingers and toes have discoloured and calls an ambulance.
Kevin is set to get the devastating news that Jack has sepsis and that the next 24 hours are crucial.
It has also been reported that the desperate dad will have to make a decision that no parent should have to make when doctors reveal they may have to amputate Jack’s limb in order to keep him alive.
Coronation Street hopes that this storyline will help raise awareness of sepsis and the dangers that lie with the condition.
The soap has been working closely with the UK Sepsis Trust to make sure the storyline is accurate.
The organisation’s chief executive Dr Ron Daniels has said: “Stories like Jack’s remind us of the devastating cost of sepsis.
“The condition affects 250,000 people every year in the UK and claims 44,000 lives – more than breast, bowel and prostate cancer, and road accidents combined.
