Dan Osborne and Jacqueline Jossa reveal exciting baby news

And Dan says he's "quite scared"

| Updated:

We don’t know if Jacqueline Jossa and Dan Osborne had any big plans for 2018, but it looks like they might have to shelve them.

The EastEnders actress and her former TOWIE star husband have announced that they’re expecting their second child together.

And revealing the news to OK! magazine, the couple confessed that the news came as a “huge shock”.

Jacqueline and Dan – who tied the knot last year – already have a daughter, Ella, who’s three next month.

Dan also has a four-year-old son, Teddy, from his previous relationship with Megan Tomlin.

And Jacqueline, 25, told OK! that the couple had had no immediate plans to add to their brood.

So when she took a pregnancy test and it came back positive, she decided to take two more just to make sure!

She explained: “We both started laughing when the test was positive.”

Added Dan, 26: “We hadn’t been trying, so it was a huge shock. I think I’m still getting my head around it.

“Kids are a blessing, but having three children is going to be a big responsibility. I’m not going to lie, I feel quite scared!”

At least Jacqueline won’t have to worry about her TV career getting in the way. Last September, it was revealed that she and Lorna Fitzgerald – who plays her on-screen sister Abi – were to be written out of the show.

Over Christmas, we saw the sisters fall off the roof of the Queen Vic, and the gossip is that Abi’s life-support machine will be switched off this Friday.

Lauren is expected to leave the show soon after.

Around Christmastime, Jacqueline hinted that she might have something else lined up for when she finishes in Albert Square – vlogging!

She tweeted a request to her fans, saying: “Guys help me out, I’m trying to practise vlogging #trainwreck!!”

Sounds like the perfect career to have when you’re at home looking after a couple of kids!
