EastEnders star Jacqueline Jossa has responded to comments online about why she never posts photographs of her stepson.
Jac is stepmum to little Teddy, her husband Dan Osborne’s son with his ex-girlfriend Megan Tomlin.
Teddy is celebrating his fourth birthday today.
Yesterday, Jacqueline posted a selfie on Instagram, along with some teasing hints about how exciting the Christmas episodes of EastEnders are going to be.
But while lots of fans agreed they were looking forward to seeing what happens to Jac’s alter-ego on the big day, the comments soon veered off topic as fans began discussing Teddy.

One fan questioned why Jac never posts pics of the little boy on her own Instagram feed.
As others weighed into the debate, they began discussing whether it was Teddy’s mum who’d requested that Jac doesn’t post pictures.
And they said they thought it would have been better if Jacqueline hadn’t posted about EastEnders on the same day as Teddy’s birthday.
As the debate raged on in the comments, Jacqueline decided it was time to step in.
She pointed out she hadn’t posted on Teddy’s birthday, and that she was respecting his mum’s wishes by not posting pictures on her own feed.

Adding that she loves the little boy “very much” and telling the poster: “Don’t talk about things you don’t understand.”
Jac’s husband Dan often posts photographs of his kids together, and says the two children are best friends.
Jacqueline and Dan married in June this year.
Marking little Teddy’s birthday today, Dan wrote on social media: “Happy 4th Birthday to my incredible son/best friend!!! Words can not even begin to describe how much you mean to me.
“I feel sooo lucky to be your daddy! Thank you for making me the happiest/proudest man alive.
“I love you more than you’ll ever know.”
