Jake Quickenden has revealed he spent the night in A&E after suffering a painful injury.
The Dancing On Ice champion has been forced to pull out of a scheduled show with The Dreamboys on Saturday after a “pretty bad” injury to both heels.
He told fans via Instagram he’d hurt himself jumping off the stage the previous night.
Ouch!
Jake said: “So unfortunately I won’t be at The Dreamboys show tonight. Last night I jumped off the stage and landed funny, spent all night in A&E having X-rays and I’ve damaged both heels pretty bad!!

The Dreamboys’ official Twitter account confirmed Jake’s injury and absence from Saturday’s show in York.
A message read: “People of York, unfortunately due to a bad ankle injury sustained at our show last night and spending all night in hospital, @jakequickenden14 will not be performing in @TheDreamboys show tonight at the @grandoperayork.
“We wish Jake a speedy recovery and send him all our love.”
Fans were also quick to send their best wishes to Jake for a speedy recovery.
One wrote: “Ouch! Hope you’ll be okay Jake. I’m sending hugs and kisses your way.”
Another told him: “Get well soon. At least there is lots of football to watch on TV and that will probably cheer u up. Relax yourself.”
A third added: “Was there last night. Gutted for u and thank u for still managing to meet us after. Speedy recovery Jake!
And a fourth joked: “Wish you a speedy recovery Jake! You should be wrapped in bubble wrap! #accidentprone.”
Poor Jake, 29, also ended up in A&E while competing on Dancing On Ice earlier in the year, after hurting his thumb while training with partner Vanessa Bauer.

He told ITV’s Lorraine at the time: “I dislocated my thumb yesterday. It’s a lot of fuss over nothing.
“When I was getting the X-rays and MRI scans yesterday I was thinking, ‘It’s just a thumb!’ but it’s more a precaution. I don’t want to lift Vanessa and have something happen. It’s precautionary and it’s fine.”
Get well soon, Jake!
