Jamie and Louise Redknapp are divorcing, after months of speculation about their marriage, a family friend has told The Sun.
The couple married in 1998 and have two sons, Charley and Beau, but their picture perfect marriage has appeared to fracture over the last year.
Rumours started to spread about the couple after Louise’s appearance on Strictly Come Dancing last year appeared to give the singer a new lease of life.

Since then she’s been spotted out on the town with friends, taken on the role of Sally Bowles in Cabaret, and performed in her first solo show in fifteen years.
Louise’s new dedication to reviving her career has seen the couple see less and less time together, and according to The Sun’s source, they’ve finally made their split official.
“They have come to a mutual agreement that divorce is the only option,” the source said. “Louise has filed the paperwork and there’s no going back.”
The pair plan to share custody of their two sons, who have been living in the family home with Jamie since Louise moved out.
Louise has been open about her reignited passion for performing, claiming she felt her life as a wife and mother was holding her back.
Speaking to Stella Magazine, she said her appearance on Strictly made her realise how much she missed being on the stage.
“It was only when I agreed to do Strictly Come Dancing that I realised I couldn’t just go back to that,” she said.
“I didn’t want to continue running around after everyone else, and occasionally promoting a yogurt or doing a little TV presenting job. I wanted to sing, I wanted to perform.”
Jamie has never commented publicly on the state of his marriage, but a source told The Sun he feels stung by the implication that he wasn’t supportive of his wife’s career.
“Louise worked throughout the marriage,” the source said, “as a TV presenter, talent show judge, lingerie model and brand ambassador — with Jamie’s full support.”

The pair are said to be spending Christmas apart, although neither have officially confirmed the split.
