He’s a judge, and boy, does he love to judge.
Professional dancer Jason Gardiner has shocked fans by criticising Cheryl Tweedy over her new role on show The Greatest Dancer, asking: “What is her dance background?”
The Dancing On Ice star questioned the singer’s qualifications as a judge in an interview with The Sun.
The 47-year-old said: “The judging line up on that is questionable as well…what’s [Cheryl’s] dance background? Where is her dance background?

“She went to Royal Ballet School, that you pay an extortionate amount to go to because Mum and Dad just want to drop you off somewhere for the holidays…”
The X Factor star is appearing on the new BBC talent show alongside Strictly professional dancer, Oti Mabuse and Glee star Matthew Morrison.
It’s the latest blow in a rough couple of months for the singer, who is mum to Bear, and split from One Direction’s Liam Payne this summer.
Her musical comeback and performances have been repeatedly mocked – for everything from her boots to her grammar.

But one positive has been the close friendship she’s formed with fellow judge on The greatest Dancer, Oti.
The pair were forced to deny an on-set feud after a source claimed to The Sun: “Cheryl clearly sees herself as the bigger name, even though Oti has impeccable dance credentials. It’s created a real atmosphere. Cheryl arrived with such an air of superiority – a few of the crew thought she was being a bit of a diva.”
But both Cheryl and Oti, 28, denied the claims, and the Strictly dancer later insisted: “We’re generally getting to know each other and there’s something about her that I love.
“I feel like once she lets you in, she kind of takes care of you like a sister.”
Oti also publicly urged Cheryl, 35, to do Strictly to prove the doubters wrong.

She said: “I would love to see her try. I think if she did Strictly, people would love her and see another side that they haven’t seen yet. She would be brilliant.”
