He thinks the boys will get to know their mum better

Jeff Brazier has revealed that he has started watching old clips of his ex Jade Goody with his sons.

Speaking in a late night Instagram video, the TV presenter and grief counsellor said he has persuaded Bobby, 13, and Freddy, 12, to watch some of her TV appearances so they can get to know her better.

He said he was inspired to do this after he saw a montage of Jade’s famous moments on screen during an appearance on Loose Women.

At the time, he got emotional and said, “That’s done me today, seeing the video and the pictures is just so desperately unfair on her and the children.”

But in his video post in which lists things he’s grateful for, he explained that the clip gave him an clever idea.

“I’m grateful for the fact that after my turn out on Loose Women last week, when I realised watching footage of Jade was very emotional for me, and having spoken to the boys about it tonight we watched some of her Living TV appearances on Jade’s Salon.

“They loved it, absolutely loved it and can’t wait to watch the next one.”

It’s only recently that Jeff has been sharing pictures of his boys after years of keeping them out of the limelight.

“They understand fame well enough to know that I made them un-famous!” he said, explaining why he had kept them hidden.

“It was quite amusing when Bobby first said that.”

“It’s hard for them to quantify the immeasurable difference me keeping them in the magazines and on the TV over the last eight years would have had on their sense of reality and their ability to come to terms with their loss.

“Maybe it would of been fine for us to do so but I wasn’t willing to gamble on their childhoods.”

What a wise young man!
