Jeff Brazier has shared a touching tribute to the late Jade Goody, on what would have been the reality TV star’s 38th birthday.

Big Brother star Jade was just 27 when she lost her battle to cervical cancer, leaving her two sons Bobby and Freddy in the custody of their dad Jeff.
In a moving message posted on both his official Twitter and Instagram pages, Jeff marked Jade’s birthday by sharing a photo of her with her sons.
He also wrote a statement showing admiration for his late ex, saying: “Today would have been Jade’s 38th birthday, so we had a small gathering and raised a glass in her memory.”

He continued: “My heart aches for all of the love and affection the boys have had to go without in her absence and for all she missed of their childhood, those precious stolen moments deprived of a fiercely strong and proud mother.
“My thanks to those who came along, as well as those who couldn’t make it, always showing the boys that they have many good people supporting their every step.”
Jeff, who found fame on Shipwrecked in 2001, also revealed it was his son’s birthday.

He said: “It was also Bobby’s 16th this week, so we celebrated getting him there in one piece and all the promise his future holds.”
Jeff’s followers were quick to send messages of support, with one writing: “Jeff you are doing an amazing job as a dad… Jade would be very proud of you… Keep up the great work.”
Another said: “The boys have a brilliant dad who took over the role as mum, too. Jade would be very proud of what you have done. Life can be so cruel; she was way too young. Here’s to Jade on your birthday. Thank you for making me aware how important smear tests are.”
A third typed: “Her heart is kept alive by your love and memories of her. Those two boys walk in her beautiful glow every day. She would be so proud of the love you have given them and the memory of her you share with them. I hope you know she would be so proud of the man and dad you are.”
Bobby was just five when his famous mum passed away.
To mark the 10th anniversary of her death in March, the boys hosted a quiz night to raise money for cancer charity Marie Curie – who were “fantastic” in caring for Jade in her final days – and children’s hospital Great Ormond Street.
