If you’re one of the many Emmerdale fans hoping to see Moira and Cain reunited, then we’ve got bad news for you…
Despite legions of viewers desperately holding out for Moira and Cain to get back together, Emmerdale actor Jeff Hordley has revealed he thinks Cain needs to move on from his ex.
The pair might have a new baby together, but even being thrown back together in such a mighty manor hasn’t convinced Jeff that the pair are meant to be.

He recently told Soap Squawk that Cain should concentrate on his romance with Harriet Finch, and not try to rekindle the flame with his ex wife, admitting: “He really likes Harriet and they have a lot of fun together.”
But why is Jeff so against Cain and Moira getting back together?
“I think there’s something still there with him and Moira,” he revealed. “But unfortunately she’s kinda told him on numerous occasions that it’s not happening.
“There’s only so many times that a man can take that, so he has to accept that although he might love her deep down, he’s got another relationship.”
With Moira struggling to cope with her surprise role as a new mum, along with the drama of Emma’s death, it seems like she might need Cain by her side now more than ever.

And it seems there are plenty of people out there still hoping Cain might be the one to rescue her… one fan Tweeted: “Why can’t cain and Moira just get back together?”
Another fan thinks the pair are so good together, they could have their own stand-alone show… “Could we please have a Cain and Moira standalone soap?Just want #coira back together!”
While someone else thinks Coira are brilliant, even when they’re fighting! “Cain and Moira’s chemistry is undeniable. Even at war.”
Despite admitting his alter ego still loves Moira, Jeff is quick to point out all the reasons that Harriet is the woman for Cain… “It’s wonderful with her being an ex police officer and a woman of the cloth and Cain having the kind of background that he does.
“They’re like teenagers – it seems that at the end of every fortnight they’re fighting and not together, and then suddenly they’re back on again.”
Speaking to Digital Spy, Jeff admitted things are more complicated than ever, “I still think there’s legs in Harriet and Cain. I still think there’s always legs in Cain and Moira too, though!
“There’s going to be more twists and turns as the months progress. I don’t think it’s going to be straightforward.”
