She told the magazine: “When I was pregnant the first time around I told the bosses within days of Cath Tyldesley [who plays Eva Price] and Paula Lane [who played Kylie Platt] also telling the bosses they were pregnant.
“This time around it’s just me so they weren’t as worried about finding ways to write me out!”
Jennie, 34, added the first person on set she told about her pregnancy was co-star Alan Halsall, who plays Tyrone Dobbs.
She said: “He’s my partner in crime so he was the first one I told. We film together a lot so I had to warn him that I’d probably be needing lots of toilet breaks!”
The star, who is already mum to three-year-old Albert, added that she’s happy to still be working on Corrie, but also feels sad at times missing out on things with her son.
She described motherhood as the “best thing in the world”, adding: “I choose to work because I love my job and it feels like the right thing for us as a family but I do hate missing out on things with Albert.”

Jennie and her husband, Chris Farr, announced their second pregnancy via Twitter in April.
She told fans: “We’ve got a bit of news. Our baby boy is going to be a big brother later this year. We can’t wait to meet you precious one.”
And it seems little Albert is already excited about the new arrival, as Jennie revealed on ITV’s Lorraine he’s already come up with baby name suggestions!
She said: “We asked Albert if he would like a little brother or sister, which is probably a bad question, but luckily he said yes. The he said ‘but what am I going to call it?’ so he thinks that he’s got the job of naming.

“Although if he had his way at the moment it would probably be Chase or Marshall after one of the Paw Patrol characters!”
Jennie added: “They’ll probably be named after a Coronation Street character like Albert was – although not on purpose. But all the gorgeous names have all been in Coronation Street, so it’ll probably be something from that!”
