Jeremy McConnell has been charged for assaulting Stephanie Davis and causing damage to her home.
A rep for Merseyside Police confirmed that he was charged after an incident that happened in Rainhill on March 9.
He is set to appear at Liverpool Magistrates Court on Wednesday, May 10.

The rep said: “Merseyside Police can confirm Jeremy McConnell, 27 years, of Boroimhe Laurels, Swords, Ireland has been charged with assault and criminal damage following an incident in Stephenson Grove, Rainhill on 9 March 2017.”
The Irish model was arrested on suspicion of assault and criminal damage on March 16 after he turned himself in.
At the time, a rep for Jeremy said: “Jeremy denies any wrongdoing, however he is fully cooperating with the police in their investigations.”
Jeremy and his girlfriend Steph, who share a son, Caben-Albi, together haven’t yet commented on the news, but the former Hollyoaks actress has tweeted about the paparazzi.

The couple, who met in Celebrity Big Brother, have since made up and posed together for a family photo on Snapchat at the weekend.
She captioned the sweet photo: “Family Sundays”, alongside a heart emoji.

Jeremy has also recently undergone treatment at rehab for his addictions.
They are now set on repairing their relationship for the sake of their son, and Steph has already spoken about having more children with him.
She told Closer: “We’ve both talked about having another baby at some point.
“For Jez, it’s about wanting to put right what he did wrong and be there throughout my next pregnancy. And I’m so broody – I’d love to give Caben a little sister one day.’
