Little Mix star Jesy Nelson has raised eyebrows amongst her fans after getting a fresh inking of a gun on her ribcage.
The 27-year-old singer revealed her new collection of body art on Instagram yesterday and wrote: “Thank you @zayahastra for always giving me my favourite little tattoos.”
But it was met with mixed reviews.
While many said they “love” her new additions, others questioned why she chose the image of a gun and deemed it inappropriate.
One wrote: “That’s a really positive thing to promote, having a gun tattooed on you. Well done @jesynelson”.
Another added: “What”s the meaning behind the gun??”
She also had a Queen of Hearts symbol inked on her face during her session in the tattoo parlour.

But that wasn’t all. Jesy, who already has a number of tatts, got a matching ‘icon’ inking on her forearm with pal James Silk.
One fan’s reaction was to comment on her picture with: “A gun and the word “icon” together. Think about it…”
The backlash comes as Jesy and her bandmates Leigh-Anne Pinnock, 26, Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirwall, both 25, campaign for women to be confident in their own skin.
Speaking to Glamour magazine in September, Jesy said of body confidence: “Not to be big-headed but we are all at a stage where we really do enjoy ourselves at the moment. A couple of years ago, I would have said we were all quite insecure and felt like we hated certain things about our faces and our body and now we have just learnt to accept them and genuinely things I hated, I now love.
“I like my boobs and… I just like everything at the moment, I’m really enjoying myself! You need to embrace it! I don’t care about having a fake bum; I’m just happy with my nice, normal, jiggly bum.”
