Jodie Marsh at war with reality stars after TV sex diss

Glamour model claims the public want to bring classy back

Jodie Marsh has kicked off a feud with the reality TV world, after slamming the stars of shows like Love Island and Geordie Shore for having sex on television.

The Essex-born glamour model turned weightlifter and presenter began her rant when Chloe Ferry was evicted from Celebrity Big Brother on Friday night.

Quoting host Emma Willis asking Chloe why she thought she hadn’t fared as well as previous Geordie Shore stars on the programme, Jodie tweeted: “PEOPLE HAVE WOKEN UP”.

She then added: “On a serious note, I think people have finally realised it’s NOT actually cool to have sex on TV (unless you’re a porn star)…. RIP Geordie Shore, Love Island & Ex On the Beach.

“You had a good run but your time is up. The public have spoken & they want classy!”

But Jodie’s comments unsurprisingly didn’t go down too well with those who have made their names on such shows.

Last year’s Love Island star Kady McDermott was quick to respond, tweeting: “I had to delete that naked photo of Jodie marsh I felt like my timeline had chlamydia.”

Meanwhile, Olivia Buckland, who recently got engaged to her Love Island beau Alex Bowen, wrote: “Not only is @LoveIsland my Bae. I (heart) reality TV. I love REALNESS. I love raw personalities. I hate judgemental people. Respect the hustle xx”

She then added: “Ok so me and @ab_bowen07 have just been blocked. @LoveIsland is our baby and I will stick up for it forever. Hey it found me my fiance!”

Aaron Chalmers was one of the Geordie Shore stars to respond to Jodie’s remarks, commenting on the short-lived marriage she had with Matt Peacock after programme Totally Jodie Marsh: Who’ll Take Her Up the Aisle?.

“Lets be honest Jodie your 40 you’ve (sic) had 2 failed marriages and ya begging for work! The undateables are looking for people to get married btw (by the way),” he wrote.

“I’d rather sh*g 100 girls on TV then marry a stranger for a show!! Taking some 1 home that’s never met your parents and he’s your husband.”

Jodie did little to cool the row when she returned to her Twitter page after the backlash, writing: “Waaaaa everyone who has ever had sex on TV is coming for me. They are clearly very upset. Listen guys, it’s cool. You’re unpaid Porn stars!”
