Stacey Solomon has never made any secret of the fact she wants to marry boyfriend Joe Swash.
She tried on wedding dresses during an episode of Loose Women last month, frequently drops hints she’d like a proposal and has said repeatedly she wants to spend her life with him.
But so far, no proposal….
Well, that may be about to change, as former EastEnders actor Joe, 35, revealed in a new interview that he’s got something up his sleeve that will make Stacey, 27, very happy.
Yep, Stacey, you may want to start dusting off those bridal magazines and picking a colour scheme… the big moment could be almost here!
After goodness knows how many hints about marriage from his other half, Joe has dropped a hint himself.
While chatting to OK! magazine, the star appeared to let slip that he’s been planning a proposal – but has vowed Stacey won’t know when he’s going to pop the question.
“She won’t know when it’s going to happen.”
Ooh, exciting!
“It’s definitely something we’re looking towards for the future,” he said.
“We both love children, we’ve both got children, we both love having big families, so it would be brilliant.
“But there’s no rush for these things.”
Stacey is mum to sons Zachary, nine, and Leighton, five, while Joe has a ten-year-old son called Harry.
In September, she told New magazine: “When I went into the relationship, I was honest about the fact that I didn’t want to have a fling.
“We both want to get married eventually, and hopefully have more children, but it’s about timing.
“He’s a lovely, normal man with a good heart and really good morals.
“He might not be the most romantic person in the world, but I know that he’s so protective of me and has my best interests at heart.”

She told The Sun in June: “I know this sounds really ridiculous and probably boring but we’re just trying to be really sensible.
“Because he’s got a little boy and I’ve got two boys, we just want to take our time and make sure they’re super happy and comfortable and we want to do it properly because we do actually like each other, a lot.
“We’ve both been head over heels and both gone with the wind [before] but we really value our relationship, we want it to be perfect so that it’s forever.”
Aww!
