Fitness guru Joe Wicks has come under fire from fans after posting what they described as a “risky” and “irresponsible” picture of his nine-month-old daughter Indie to Instagram.
The picture, which was taken on the beach in Costa Rica at sunset, features little Indie balanced in the palm of her dad’s hand.
Joe captioned the shot: “My dad used to balance me in his hand like this when I was a baby.”
But, while some questioned if the unreal-looking image had been altered, others were immediately angry.
One user commented: “What I say might attract criticism but I feel that it’s a little irresponsible of you.”

They added: “You’re in a foreign country, on the beach, miles away from anywhere you could get medical assistance.
“If you have dropped her God forbid, even worse on her head, what would you have done?” they asked.
“You would not have posted this picture on Instagram to begin with, and at worst ended up in hospital.”
They concluded: “And for for reason? To get some likes on Instagram? Was it truly worth the risk?”

Others agreed and one said: “Great photography, but this makes my belly turn a little.”
Others defended the fitness guru, with one Instagram user revealing her dad used to lift her like that all the time. She added: “I used to feel on top of the world!”
Joe and his fiancée Rosie Jones welcomed little Indie into the world last July.
Speaking about his life, Joe recently said: “I’m the happiest and most content I’ve ever been.”
