John Challis has paid tribute following the death of Nicholas Lyndhurst’s son Archie.
CBBC’s So Awkward star Archie Lyndhurst, 19, died at the family home in Fulham last week.
Tributes have poured in for Archie, including from Nicholas’ Only Fools and Horses co-star John.

The actor, who played Boycie in the sitcom, wrote on Twitter: “The saddest news of all today.
“The death of Archie Lyndhurst, just starting out on his chosen career in acting.”

He added: “My heart aches for Nick and Lucy. They could not have loved him more.”
It comes after Archie’s mum Lucy confirmed her son’s death on social media.
She told Archie’s friend Samuel Small: “He will love you and watch over you forever. Love you dearly.”
Meanwhile, a Metropolitan Police spokesman said police responded to a report of a “concern for welfare” on September 22.

They added: “Officers and London Ambulance Service attended. At the scene a man was found unresponsive. He was declared dead at the scene.
“His next of kin are aware. At this stage the death is treated as unexplained but not suspicious. A post-mortem will take place in due course.”
What did Archie Lyndhurst star in?
Archie starred as Ollie Coulton on CBBC’s So Awkward.
He also followed in his dad’s acting footsteps, starring in Bad Education as young Alfie and Max in Our Ex-Wife.
His final role was as the titular hero Henry Bramble in The Infectious Imagination of Henry Bramble.
Meanwhile, CBBC head of content Cheryl Taylor told BBC News: “He will be greatly missed by us all and our deepest condolences go out to his family and friends at this time.”
She added that Archie was “such a talented young actor”.
