Former Hollyoaks star Jorgie Porter’s advert for skincare range Proactiv has been banned from children’s TV.
The Advertising Standards Agency (ASA) pulled the ad from TV after it received a number of complaints.
Viewers slammed the video claiming it could “encourage bullying”.

They also suggested that the advert implies that if teenagers who have bad skin don’t use the product they are more likely to be bullied.
In the ads Jorgie, 29, tells viewers how she suffered from bullying in school because she had bad skin.
The actress said the insults left her feeling “gutted”.
She says: “It’s your face. When nothing works, you’re so sad and you just think, ‘Well that’s me now forever.’
“I was so, so happy when I discovered Proactiv+. It changed everything.”
The ASA have now pulled the ads from channels which would be watched by young children.
A statement from the organisation read: “The ads created a direct link between an incidence of bullying in her childhood as a result of her bad skin and a product she said had made her skin clearer.
“As a result, the ads implied that children who had bad skin and did not use the product were likely to be bullied or ridiculed.”
Proactiv has apologised for the advert since the complaints.
A spokesperson for the company added: “[The advert] simply sets out the personal story and experience of one woman.”
Meanwhile earlier this month Jorgie hit out at a group of men who shouted homophobic comments at her friend Kieron Richardson.
The star filmed herself confronting the men in the car next to hers as she drove with Hollyoaks star Kieron.
She then uploaded a clip of her Instagram account expressing her anger.
She captioned the video: “Having walked past a group of lads in the street screaming homophobic abuse at @mrkieronrichardson ! We did not want them to think they can get away with this so we pulled up along side them [sic]!!
“You disgusting group of pathetic mush you cannot get away with this. It’s a good job the rest of society has moved on!!”
In the video itself she was seen talking to the camera explaining: “We’ve actually just witnessed some homophobic, horrible, horrible guys in a taxi that wanted to shout out horrible things to Kieron…”
Kieron himself then cut in and said: “That I am a sausage what?”
Jorgie added: “I am so angry that this is actually happening, that this is real.”
“It happens on a daily basis, Jorge,” Kieron shockingly told her.
She then shared a second clip showing the guys in the other car.

People were stunned at the video and immediately heaped praise on Jorgie for standing up for her and Kieron.
“Nobody deserves to be treated in such a manor it’s the 21st century people are different and I love that.. just ignore the haters Jorgie and Kieron,” said one.
Another added: “Ha ha love that you confronted them and had nothing to say until you pulled away cowards obviously.”
A fourth wrote: “Absolutely disgusting. Good on you both for pulling them up about it.”
We couldn’t agree more.
