Her mornings are more usually spent on the set of GMB with colleagues Susanna Reid, Ben Shephard and Piers Morgan.
But this weekend, Kate Garraway has put all thoughts of news stories, hard hitting interviews, and handing over to the weather far from her mind as she enjoys a sun-soaked getaway.

Chirpy Kate took to her Instagram to reveal her weekend whereabouts to her followers – sharing a video of a beach bar on the island of Ibiza.
Whoever shot the footage – and we suspect from her hashtags it was her husband of thirteen years, Derek Draper,- panned around the location before focusing the camera on a very chuffed looking Kate.
Cutting a much more relaxed figure than we’re used to, Kate looked happy to be enjoying her down time with what looked like fresh-from-a-swim wet hair, and a refreshing drink.
Her caption to the video gave insight into the nature of her jaunt – and revealed that it was most likely a well-earned couples weekend away!

“Good Morning Ibiza!,” she wrote. “Ok so it’s the afternoon but who gets up early on a sneaky #weekendaway – kids at home with granny & grandpa . Already had an amazing massage and a long swim in the sea. #paradise #solucky #ibiza.”
Kate’s sunshine break away comes amid much speculation that she could be heading down under for the I’m a Celebrity jungle in the coming months.
Just this week her colleague Lorraine revealed that the GMB presenters were “very close” to one of this year’s contestants, prompting Susanna to look at Kate and query: “Are we quite hot?”
A laughing Ben Shephard chipped in “Roasting”, while jovial Lorraine said: “Boiling!”.
Kate, meanwhile, gave nothing away, and laughed off her workmates teasing with some faux exasperation.
“I love how all of my colleagues want to see me buried and covered in cockroaches,” she sighed.
If she is jungle bound, then this chilled weekend away in Ibiza is entirely deserved – and we reckon a whole lot more luxurious and relaxing than her next trip will be!
