Kate Middleton ‘could get her own TV show amid secret BBC talks’

Various royals have worked on TV projects recently

| Updated:

The Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton is rumoured to be getting her own show after reportedly attending secret talks at the BBC.

According to the Daily Mail, the mum-of-three has held private talks with BBC director-general Tony Hall, sparking rumours she might be working on a project for TV.

The publication reported that the royal was spotted at the Beeb’s Broadcasting House site in London on Thursday (07.11.19).

But a spokesperson for Kate refused to offer up any details on the event.

They told the newspaper: “It wouldn’t be appropriate to discuss the content of the meeting.”

ED! has contacted the BBC for comment.

It follows reports earlier this year that Prince Harry is working on a documentary series with American TV megastar Oprah Winfrey.

Their show will be about mental health and air on the streaming service Apple TV+ next Spring.

Harry’s wife, Meghan Markle, is a good pal of Oprah and is believed to have also been involved in the project.

The collaboration was announced on the Sussexes’ Instagram page back in April, when the account shared a quote from Harry on “mental fitness”.

It revealed in the caption: “We are excited to announce that The Duke of Sussex and Oprah Winfrey are partners, co-creators and executive producers on their forthcoming mental health series launching on Apple in 2020.

“The pair have been developing the series for several months and are looking forward to sharing such an important project on this global platform.”

The royals have been involved in a number of TV projects in recent months.

Most recently, Prince Charles wowed royal fans with a two-part documentary about his decades of work within the Duchy of Cornwall.

And earlier this year, Harry and Meghan made a number of stark revelations about the impact of royal duties on their mental health with their documentary about their tour of Africa.
