Katie Piper has ditched her blonde locks for a new brunette hairdo following her exit from Strictly Come Dancing.
The star, who left the competition earlier this month, took to Instagram on Wednesday to reveal she’s dyed her hair dark brown as she said goodbye to her signature blonde shade.
Katie shared a selfie showing herself in the “Physio room” at her charity Katie Piper Foundation’s “burn rehab centre” as she unveiled her new look.

She captioned the pic: “In the Physio room at @kpfoundation burn rehab centre with our patient coordinator @positivevibesonly_xx.
“This is where a large part of the patients rehab will take place. As you can see I had a change of hair colour last night! #burns #scars #charity #katiepiperfoundation.”
Fans couldn’t get over Katie’s new hair with many saying being brunette suited her.
One person said: “Going dark really suits you, beautiful,” while another gushed: “You look so great with brown hair.”
A third wrote: “Wow! Your hair looks awesome! Such a change but it really suits you.”
Shortly before, Katie had taken to her Instagram stories to reveal she had dyed her locks.
She wrote: “Great day working my team – strong, inspiring, hardworking men and women. Probably my favourite part of my professional life.
“P.S. I’ve gone brunette!”
Katie set up her foundation in 2009 after she was attacked with acid the year before. Her charity aims to help people with burns and scars through recovery.
She underwent pioneering surgery to restore her face and vision and now aims to raise awareness about burns victims.
Just a couple of weeks ago, Katie was voted off Strictly Come Dancing alongside her pro partner Gorka Marquez after the judges saved Casualty actor Charles Venn in the dance-off.
Following her elimination, the mum-of-two took to Instagram to thank fans for their continued support throughout the competition.
She said in a video: “Well what a week it’s been. Guys, my Strictly journey is officially over. I think it was the right decision because I wasn’t the best dancer in the competition.
“But I did have so much fun and to get to week four, I didn’t expect to get that far so thank you to you who voted for me and supported me on social media.”
She added: “Who I was on week one was so different to how I felt last night. I feel so privileged to have been part of that journey. Big thank you to the BBC and everyone at Strictly, the judges, the contestants and the production for such a great experience.”

She also thanked her partner Gorka in the caption, saying: “My partner @gorka_marquez you’ve been in incredible…
“Being partnered with me meant you were starting with a complete blank canvas and one that was quite nervous to then getting me Jiving and smiling at the same time in week 4 is quite amazing!
“You are a great teacher and now a great friend of mine.”
