Katie Price has said she doesn’t blame ex husband Peter Andre for taking their children to live with him as she battled her personal troubles.
The former glamour model, 40, appeared on Loose Women earlier today to open up about her tough 12 months which has seen her love life take several twists and turns and her mum suffer with terminal illness.
Mum-of-five Katie told the chat show’s panellists she turned to drugs to self-medicate – but insisted her spell in rehab had nothing to do with drugs or booze.
However, she did admit singer Peter – father to their kids Junior, 13, and Princess, 11 – was in the right when he stepped in.

“The kids are all back to normal,” she claimed on the ITV lunchtime show.
“I don’t blame Pete for doing what he did in the beginning.”
Katie continued: “Basically Kieran [Hayler] told him, he said I was self-medicating – and he acted like what a dad does.”
“There’s more drama which I’m not going to go into,” she added, before revealing living arrangements were now back to “exactly the way it was before”.

“Half and half,” Katie explained.
“And it has been like that for ages.”
Describing her self-medicating as “disgusting”, Katie said she felt it was her best option at the time to help her cope with her turbulent personal life before she sought out treatment for PTSD at The Priory.
“It was my way of dealing with it,” she reflected.
“That’s when I was like: ‘No, I know I need help, this is not me.’
“At least I can hold my hands up. And I’m so glad I did because if I didn’t speak out, I would probably still be in a rut now.
“Then with my exes behind my back, stuff happened with the kids where everyone thought they were taken off me, and that was the last thing.”
Katie, who reportedly also recently faced bankruptcy and was banned from driving for three months at the start of 2019, is also mum to Harvey, 16, five-year-old Jett and Bunny, four.
– Loose Women airs on weekdays on ITV at 12.30pm
