Katie Price appeared on Loose Women today and was joined by her terminally-ill mum Amy, who was diagnosed with an incurable lung condition 18 months ago.
And things got emotional for the pair as Amy spoke about her daughter’s work on Harvey’s Law.
The model gained backing from MPs for her campaign to make online abuse a crime after her disabled son Harvey, 16, was targeted by trolls.
Speaking about the delays to Harvey’s Law, which Amy said had been held up due to “bloomin’ Brexit”, she revealed that she feels “very proud” of her daughter.
As Amy reached for the tissues, mum-of-five Katie pulled her in for a kiss and said: “Oh, don’t start crying Mum, Jesus! She is proud I am doing it.”
Katie continued: “She did say before she died, she wants to make sure [Harvey’s Law] is in place,” and added: “But you helped me do it as well, you’re a good little speaker, aren’t you, Mum?”

Asked how she’s feeling, Amy told the panel: “I’m not too bad. I went for tests this week with the transplant team – they keep an eye on me. My lung function tests have dropped a little bit but that’s to be expected because it is a progressive illness.”
Katie, who previously offered to donate one of her lungs to her mum, who isn’t yet on the transplant list as she is deemed “too healthy”, said: “Number one, she wouldn’t ever let me because I am a mum of the kids, but obviously you would do anything for your mum.”
She added of the organ donation process: “It’s not that easy either, is it?”

Amy, who has moved to Spain because she was “suffering so much here with the cold weather”, revealed: “I don’t cough over there.”
She said: “If I go out walking, over here I do 2,000 steps, but over there, because the weather is so good, I am doing 10,000 because the air is warmer and drier.”
When Katie mentioned that her mum had done a spin class that morning, Amy said that “of course” it makes her out of breath, but added: “That is good for you. Well, for me, because I am exercising my lungs.”
Revealing that she was off for more tests tomorrow “to see whether I need to be put on oxygen for exercise”, the panel asked Katie how she is coping with her mum’s illness.
Admitting the past year had been “such a bad year”, Katie joked: “I get the violin out. I say: ‘I thought you would have gone by now, you’ve still got a few years.'”
She added: “I haven’t processed it yet. When you hear the word terminal, you think it could be next week or a month, but she still has got lots in her. Lots of energy, still moaning at me.”
