Katie Price sparked a heated debate among her Instagram followers when she posted a video of her son Harvey, 15, dancing topless to the song Crazy Frog and letting out the ‘C’ word, before she told him off.

“Where is he learning to swear from?” wrote one Instagram user. “I know everyone has a right to freedom of what they put up on Instagram, but we also have the responsibility to do the right thing by are [our] kids!”

Another wrote that the video should be taken down.

The majority of Katie’s fans were quick to support her, however.

“You all need to stop hating on her, why should this video be taken down the boy’s singing and dancing for God sake he’s a lovely young man and if she wants to show the world him then so be it [sic],” wrote one.

Harvey, whose father is former footballer Dwight Yorke, is blind and suffers from a condition known as septo-optic dysplasia.

The teenager is also on the autism spectrum, and suffers from Prader-Willi syndrome, which typically causes mild to moderate intellectual impairment.

“Negative comments are unnecessary,” wrote another Instagram follower. “Katie is a proud mum, there is nothing wrong with showing her son dancing, or not wearing a top or whatever else the comments say.

“She’s showing the trolls that we’re all equal, we all look different and many of us have health issues and that’s ok!!!!

“You really should show some empathy and praise for her raising such a lovely, strong young man. Look how happy he is!! He’s a credit to you Katie.”

Katie, who has four other children, has launched a petition to make online bullying a criminal offence. She wants to take the petition to Parliament.

She said: “Trolling is a major problem in this day and age.

“People of all ages and backgrounds suffer every day, including my family – especially my son Harvey.

“I have tried my best to expose people and even had two arrested but nothing was done and there were no repercussions or penalties for their behaviour.”
