Reality star Katie Price is often dealing with some kind of drama, and now one of her cars has been repossessed after she reportedly failed to pay a two-year-old fine.
The former glamour model’s pink Beetle was taken away last month after Katie apparently didn’t hand over the cash for a £1,300 driving fine.
The 41-year-old reportedly had bailiffs at her door to repossess the asset after she missed letters informing her about the fine.
According to an insider, the star originally owed just £2.50 after failing to pay the toll charge for the Dartford Crossing back in 2017. But she didn’t pay the fine, after she didn’t see the letters about it, and costs spiralled to around £800.
A source told The Sun: “Katie’s saying the letters must have got overlooked as she had no idea that the fine had spiralled from £2.50 to £800.
“The bailiffs turned up and threatened to clamp all the cars on the drive, before towing the VW Beetle.
“With the towing charges on top of the fine, that’s £1,300 if she wants to get the car back.”
Ent Daily has contacted a representative for Katie for comment.

Katie only recently got her driving licence back. She was given a driving ban after she was found guilty of being drunk in charge of a vehicle.
A judge handed her the three-month ban in February after her involvement in the car crash in October.

The mum-of-five has had more financial woes to deal with, too.
Earlier this month, it was revealed that her clothing company, KDC Trading, closed down.
The business had to shut after Katie failed to file accounts for the struggling firm since 2017.
The Sun claimed that Katie had a warning in April that KDC Trading, which sold her equestrian range, was set to be dissolved unless Companies House received the overdue books.
The publication also reported that the business had debts of £22,000 showing in its books for the year ending April 2017.
