Katie Price suffers Instagram backlash over latest daughter pic

Trolls slate make-up shot

It seems that no one courts controversy quite like Katie Price, and the former glamour model has found herself at the centre of yet another media storm after publishing a picture of her youngest daughter smeared with make-up.

In the snap, posted on Instagram, two-year-old Bunny is seen with lipstick smudged across her lips and chin.

Of course, it may be just a case of a small child having fun with her mum’s cosmetics bag. Indeed, Katie captioned the pic by saying: “Oh dear I’ve caught Bunny with my make up again.”

But that hasn’t stopped internet critics going to town on Katie and the way she’s bringing up her daughter.

“How about you put it out of her reach. Common sense but your blonde so you probably dont have any,” scathed one observer. [sic]

Another poster went one step further by mocking the name of Katie’s daughter: “Who calls there child Bunny??? I feel sorry for her when she goes to school and gets picked on… seriously, what were you thinking!” [sic]

Bunny is Katie’s second child with her third husband, builder and part-time stripper Kieran Hayler – and her fifth child in total.

Katie has previously credited the toddler with saving her marriage to Hayler.

In her 2016 autobiography Reborn, the Loose Women panellist describes how giving birth to Bunny helped to mend the couple’s relationship after Hayler cheated on her with her one-time best friend, Jane Pountney.

Katie Price has divided opinion ever since she first arrived in the spotlight under her pseudonym, Jordan, in the 1990s.

While many admire her as a highly successful businesswoman, others prefer to pour scorn on her every move.

Only last week, she was derided for posting a picture on Instagram of her fridge stocked up with healthy food.

On that occasion, Katie hit back at her detractors by posting the message: “Move on, sad little trolls!”

We await her response to this latest backlash with bated breath.
