Who among us hasn’t tweeted something regrettable in the small hours?
On Saturday night, Katie Price took to Instagram to post a series of quotes about mistakes and marriage, even apparently proposing to her ex.
In 1am messages spotted by The Mirror and believed to be directed at on/off boyfriend Kris Boyson, the mum-of-five shared: “When you realise you lost someone through a hard time and want them back.”
Alongside an image of a couple were the words: “I want you back. So bad it hurts and it keeps getting worse. I realised I made a mistake… but now it’s too late. I miss you. I long for your touch and your kiss. But I know I’ll never get you back. I’m sorry. I love you.”
Another image read: “I wanna marry you because you’re the first person I wanna look at when I wake up in the morning, and the only one I wanna kiss goodnight. Because the first time that I saw these hands, I couldn’t imagine not being able to hold them. But mainly, when you love someone as much as I love you, getting married is the only thing left to do.
“So, will you, um, marry me? Definitely. Maybe.”
The 40-year-old, who has been married to Peter Andre, Alex Reid and Kieran Hayler, ended things with personal trainer Kris in August after five months together.
But they’ve since been seen together several times, including at his 30th birthday, after which Katie was arrested for driving drunk.
The reality star recently left rehab after a tricky month-long stint, following a storm of damaging headlines.
Katie later deleted the posts only leaving up a selfie on InstaStories captioned: “Boxing night.”

The former glamour model later shocked fans with a plea to I’m A Celeb bosses.

Taking to Twitter on Sunday, Katie – who appeared in the third series of the jungle reality show back in 2004 – wrote: “What a dream come true it would be to go back into @imacelebrity ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.”
Fans were divided over the idea, with many accusing her of being “desperate”.
One wrote: “No love. I’d say it’s the last thing you need.” Another added: “I never got to experience #ImACelebrity with @KatiePrice, so this I’d really, really love to see.”
A third offered a more sympathetic take, writing: “Not desperate, more like a time she was truly happy. And she just wants to be that happy again.”
There are also rumours that Katie is joining the next series of Celebs Go Dating.

Poor Katie. Let’s hope she finds whatever she needs to make her happy.
